The NHS improves patient safety in healthcare facilities during Covid-19
The NHS has warned coughing for three weeks or more while being tested negative for Covid-19, could be signs of lung cancer.
According to the NHS, each year 39, 000 people are diagnosed with lung cancer. However, those who have reacted to their symptoms have a 57.7% of living for another five years.
During Covid-19 the total amount of diagnosis has significantly dropped as a result of too many people being afraid of contracting Covid-19. The NHS has implemented stricter measures to protect patients when visiting healthcare practices or GPs.
It’s advised individuals who suspect and show worrying symptoms should contact their GP immediately.
