Protect those you love - Download the NHS Coronavirus App

The new NHS Covid-19 App has been rolled out to help the general public detect those who are tested positive for coronavirus. The app is beneficial for users to know their surroundings in terms of when they are at a high risk of contracting the disease. The app sends out a notification to alert the owner when the following occurs:

Contact tracing alerts -  The app sends out a notification based on your surroundings and who may be infected with Covid-19. 

Postcode alerts - This alert sends out a notification when there’s a risk of infections in your area. This will help you to be extra cautious when you are out on your daily routine.

Exposure alerts - The app allows users to check-in at venues and will keep a record of who was in the vicinity at that specific time. Should anyone test positive for Covid-19 at a later stage the app will send out an alert to notify the user to get tested.
